In addition to general adult psychiatry, psychopharmacology, and psychotherapy, Dr. Brogan provides consultation and treatment of patients with medical illnesses (with a focus on autoimmunity and hypothyroidism) and related psychiatric symptoms. She is specialized in the treatment of women at all stages of the reproductive cycle experiencing mood and anxiety symptoms, including premenstrual dysphoria (PMDD), pregnancy and postpartum symptomatology, as well as menopause-related illness.
She is board certified in Integrative and Holistic Medicine which informs a comprehensive approach to care as she endeavors to identify the root causes of illness - genetic susceptibility and its interplay with nutritional, neuroendocrine, and hormonal imbalances. With careful consideration of medication options, treatment also includes dietary modification, nutritional supplementation/nutraceuticals, breathwork, and FDA-approved medical technologies.
