Here is my favorite way to take gelatin. The higher fruit sugar (in juice) can be beneficial for energy during times of intense healing.
    Homemade Fruit Juice Gello Recipe
Put 1/3 of a cup of juice in a large stainless steel sauce pan & add 2 ½ tsp of Great Lakes Beef Gelatin, stirring until gelatin is dissolved.
Add 1 2/3 cups cold juice & stir it well.
Pour into containers, put the tops on & set in the refrigerator to jell.
I also use the silicon ice cube trays to make bite sized gello shapes for my kids. Dark cherry juice is especially beneficial for the colon. You can add some raw, whipped cream as well.
